About us

A German bakery in Playa del Carmen

Das Brot is the German bakery in Playa del Carmen. Inga, the owner, comes from Hamburg, and in the shop a sign with her city’s name hangs next to the clock.

The wooden shelves hold sourdough and rye loaves, brioche braids, baguettes and pretzels. The display case has cakes, cookies and Berliners. Plus coffee, granola and jams to take home.
